This summer I was asked by my dear friend Choya of the Oregon Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence to donate to their annual fundraiser and silent auction. So I donated a one-hour documentary family photography session (a $500 value). Caroline and Hans were the lucky winners and I was so excited to work with them and photograph their three-person family! (Hans and Caroline asked that I not use their last name or baby’s name). I spent an hour photographing the three of them in the waning days of summer; playing in their tomato garden and then inside for reading and games on the living room floor.
