It’s now official, as of writing this on Wednesday, Heidi is past due! I traveled up to Heidi and Royce’s home outside Seattle two weeks ago to photograph them in their final days before they become first-time parents. I first met Heidi and Royce when I photographed Pete and Amanda’s wedding in San Diego; Heidi is Pete’s oldest sister, and Royce, as a brother-in-law, officiated their wedding. Heidi and Royce both share a love for the musical theater, and they met during the production of a show when Heidi had first move out to Seattle. Now they share a beautiful home close to the Sound and we decided to start our shoot there, inside those walls, and even did some in the new baby’s room. We finished up with some photos along the Puget Sound at sunset.
