Andrew and Katrina are not just amazing parents but also amazing photographers based in Sedona, Arizona. I was completely honored when they asked me to photograph their family in a day-in-the-life session. I admire Andrew and Katrina as mentors to other photographers, friends and parents to their two exuberant and creative children, Kai and Elise. The day started when we picked Kai and Elise up from school, we grabbed a quick snack before heading out to play. Katrina's grandparent were Japanese immigrants to the area and in the evening I was so excited to go with them to their favorite sushi restaurant, Minami, run by long-time family friends. The night ended with a drive home through the desert and reading in bed.
