I first met Whitney and Dana at the end of the 2009 there Dana was a groomsman at Nadine and Jesse’s wedding in Huatulco, Mexico. Most everyone in that group hailed from Calgary, Alberta and it was there that Whitney and Dana chose to have a winter wedding in downtown Calgary. For their wedding venue they chose the Teatro Restaurant. I loved the moody interior at Teatro, the soft lighting inside provided an intimate ambience for their wedding ceremony and reception.
Whitney and Dana did a first look and then we got into a limo with their wedding party and drove all around downtown Calgary to locations I had scouted before the wedding. I felt especially drawn to all of the interesting lighting around the city that you could only see at night and although it was cold out, Whitney wore a white fur shawl to keep warm for the outdoor photos.
It was really cool to see two close families and a group of tight knit friends all in one place. So much love! I feel very honored and humbled to have been a part of their experience.
